ArcGIS Desktop / ArcMap

The ArcGIS License server was scheduled for decommissioning on July 1st, but it stopped working last week during an update. We have decided not to bring it back online. If you need a license, please request a stand-alone license by emailing software@ncsu.edu. Include your Unity ID email address, full name, and department/college in your request.

These licenses will only be valid until June 30th. If you need to use the license beyond this date, please indicate this in your request so we can provide a new license when it becomes available.

The new stand-alone licenses will be valid until June 30th, 2025. After this date, ArcGIS Desktop/ArcMap licenses will no longer be available at NCSU. If you have data that you need to continue working on, please transfer it to ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Pro.
