SAS FAQs
How do I update my SAS license?
Licenses expire on December 31st. However, there is a 90 day grace period where you can still use the product.
When the updated license is available, Vendor Risk & License Management will replace the old license and post a news item on our front page. You will need to complete the SAS usage form again and then ensure you download the correct OS license. Only 64-bit versions are available.
What do I do if receive the error ‘The specified SAS installation data file is invalid or …’?
Double check to make sure that you have downloaded the correct license to match your Operating System and the version of SAS that you have downloaded. If you have downloaded the correct one and are still seeing this error, please submit an assistance request here:

What do I do if I am unable to open files in Enterprise Miner?
Instead of choosing the “open an existing project” option, proceed as if creating a new project, then import the data (the existing project). You will then be able to continue work on your project.
